AARP mobilizes for 2007 legislative agenda
The American Association of Retired People, one of the USA's most influential political lobbying groups, has announced the launch of its 2007 legislative agenda. The list of proposals includes support for direct negotiations between the federal government and drugmakers over drug prices, support for generic biotechnology drugs, expanded Medicaid and SCHIP coverage (Marketletters passim).
