Actavis launches doctor accumulator scheme

26 May 2009

Icelandic generics drugmakers Actavis has launched an exclusive and enhanced Accumulator scheme, offering preferential discounts to  dispensing doctors. Actavis says it is an expert in reimbursement, and  has devised the Accumulator DD scheme specifically to support dispensing  doctors, offering up to 25% discount on the full range of already  competitively priced medicine.

Accumulator DD is unique in providing attractive discounts on the entire  generics product list from the first pound spent. This means that  dispensing doctors receive the returns needed to support their business.

Administering the scheme is also simple, with discounts paid monthly  directly into a nominated bank account and a dedicated support team on  hand to handle orders and questions. Jonathan Wilson, marketing  director, at the firm, commented: "at Actavis, we are continually  working to enhance the services and products provided and to respond to  the changing needs of dispensing doctors. We feel that this new enhanced  scheme and bandings will offer significant benefit and support to  dispensing doctors especially in a time of increased budgetary  pressures."
