AdvanCell announced the successful completion of an oversubscribed $112 million (US) Series C financing, making it the only Australian radiopharma company that has cash to burn.
This milestone funding round was co-led by SV Health Investors, Sanofi Ventures, Abingworth, and SymBiosis. Additional support came from existing investor Morningside, alongside new investors Tenmile, Brandon Capital, and others.
The latest investment by Sanofi (Euronext: SAN) reflects a broader industry trend of big pharma companies like Novartis (NOVN: VX), Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY) and AstraZeneca (LSE: AZN) expanding into radiopharmaceuticals.
