Akzo Nobel determined to float Organon
Dutch drug and chemicals firm Akzo Nobel says that it has received preliminary expressions of interest from a number of parties regarding potential acquisition of its Organon BioSciences operation. The company added that, having reviewed the offers, it remains committed to its preferred divestiture route of pursuing a separate listing for its pharmaceutical business on the Euronext market in Amsterdam (Marketletter January 15).
