A portion of the Albanian public health care system should be privatized, Genci Guga, the executive director of one of the country's leading pharmaceuticals distributors, stated in a Daily Telegraph "advertorial."
"In Albania, with the introduction of capitalism, the first rule Albanians learned was to decrease the price," the Albtrade Pharma head explained in the article. "We, as a company, have done it a completely different way - we are directed to the quality of services. We work on totally different principles, not at the expense of quality," Mr Guga added.
Working in the private sector, Albtrade has built its business by focusing on smaller markets, the Telegraph story noted. The firm was founded by Enver Guga in 1996 as a syringe distribution company, before branching out into other markets.
