ALPHA 1 BIOMED BUYS US RIGHTS TO ROCHE DRUG
- Alpha 1 Biomedicals Inc reports that it bought from Hoffmann-La Roche Inc all US rights to Thymosin alpha 1, a compound being developed for treating chronic hepatitis. While terms of the transaction have not been disclosed, purchase included rights to additional products, according to Vincent Simmon, Alpha 1 Biomedical's president and chief executive.
