- AMBA Biosciences, a start-up research company focusing on the development of gene transfer and stem cell technologies, has entered into an investment agreement with Technology Management and Funding LP, aimed at accelerating the commercialization of AMBA's innovations. Amongst the programs at AMBA is an ex vivo bone marrow environment capable of maintaining and amplifying stem cells, and cell lines which retain their normal characteristics when cultured outside the body for extended periods.
