Amgen issued with subpoenas
USA-based Amgen has been issued with subpoenas from the US Attorney's offices in New York and Washington, seeking documents related to two, as yet unidentified, products. Meantime, Amgen said that the Sheet Metal Workers National Health Fund had, under California's unfair competition law, filed a law suit against it, alleging that the company had engaged in an "anti-competitive tying arrangement and pricing scheme," regarding Neupogen (filgrastim), Neulasta (pegfilgrastim) and Aranesp (darbepoetin alfa).
