Approval for Aventis' Allegra in Japan
Aventis Pharma has been granted Japanese Ministry of Health andWelfare approval for Allegra (fexofenadine), its antihistamine which is already marketed in 55 countries. The company says that Allegra "is the first approval-granted anti-allergic drug in Japan whose efficacy was proven in clinical studies."
