Ark grants VEGF licenses to Lx Therapies
The UK's Ark Therapeutics has granted an exclusive sublicence to Finnish company Oy Lx Therapies for the use of its VEGF-C and VEGF-D genes in lymphatic disease, as well as a licence to use its proprietary adenoviral vector gene-medicine manufacturing processes and know-how in gene delivery.
As part of the deal, Ark has received an equity holding of 5% in Lx Therapies and will also get a single-digit royalty on the net sales of any marketed product.
