- Bristol-Myers Squibb's Capoten (captopril) has been licensed for use in preventing heart failure, and Merck Sharp & Dohme's Innovace (enalapril) is now available for the prevention of symptomatic heart failure in asymptomatic patients with left ventricular dysfunction, in the UK.
