Takeda has maintained its position as the most-admired pharmaceutical company in Japan, with US giant Pfizer, the most-admired foreign company, a strong runner-up.

These are the results of the 2003 survey of pharmaceutical professionals conducted by Nippon Pharma Promotions, the fifth in its annual effort to determine Japan's most-respected pharmaceutical companies (for the 2002 survey, see Marketletter May 5, 2003). Below is a summary of the most recent results.
