Farmingdale, USA-based Univec, a supplier of patented safety syringes,medical waste disposal systems, and drug sampling programs for pharmaceutical companies, announced that its safety products are being distributed by Allegiance Healthcare Corp.
Allegiance is a subsidiary of Cardinal Health, a leading provider of products and services supporting the health care industry with annual revenues of more than $40 billion. David Dalton, chief executive of Univec, said that "having Univec products stocked for distribution by reputable vendors such as Allegiance is key to supporting our domestic sales supply chain and promoting Univec's unique safety brand." He added that "Univec has become more than a syringe company, and this agreement is another step in its evolution toward becoming a specialty pharmaceutical company that remains focused on safety."
