Astellas launches oral Harnal
Japanese drug major Astellas Pharma's orally-disintegrating formulation of Harnal (tamsulosin), its benign prostatic hyperplasia drug, Harnal D, was launched on June 14 inJapan. Since its launch in 1993, the alpha-1 blocker has been sold in over 66 countries and, in the last fiscal year, achieved $1.3 billion in sales.
