Augmentin Injunction In UK

- SmithKline Beecham has been granted a preliminary injunction by the UK High Court to prevent Norton Healthcare from importing a generic version of SB's best-selling broad-spectrum antibiotic Augmentin (amoxicillin/clavulanate). SB filed the suit when it became aware of Norton's plan to launch a generic version in the UK.
