Austria's Pharmig slams "corruption" claim
Austria's research-based pharmaceutical industry group, Pharmig, has reacted vigorously to what it describes as the "dubious all-out attack from a self-appointed expert," who claims that the sector uses unethical marketing methods to persuade physicians to prescribe expensive drugs. The Pharmig's secretary general, Jan Oliver Huber, took Hans Weiss, the author of a newly-published book, titled Corrupt Medicine, to task for a number of allegations.
