Technology Vision Group, a leading producer of international biotechnology partnering meetings, has teamed up with MM Activ, India's leading science technology communication firm, to launch a joint collaboration to enable foreign life science companies to expand into India. "The new initiative is called BioPartnering@BangaloreBio 2009, and is aimed at making it easy for life science companies to meet their Indian counterparts in a professional and organized atmosphere," the companies said in a joint statement. BangaloreBio 2009 is intended to be India's largest and most successful biotechnology and pharmaceutical conference and will take place in June.
Robert Lee Kilpatrick, a partner at TVG, said: "India is strategically important to our clients because it is an important and growing part of the global value chain for health care companies. Biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies seek opportunities in India including markets, production, skilled workers, technology and capital. In this regard, India has it all."
