- Meantime, BASF has granted a license, under one of its melt extrusionpatents, to US company Warner-Lambert to enable it to formulate the antidiabetes agent Rezulin (troglitazone). BASF has also granted a similar license to Glaxo Wellcome of the UK, which has rights to troglitazone in Europe. Both license agreements include down payment and royalty provisions.
