Bayer Diagnostics is to restructure its UK sales force into five regional business units based upon National Health Service Supplies Authority boundaries in England, Scotland and Wales.
Each unit will be headed by a regional manager who will have responsibility for all diagnostic products sold in the NHS in their region. In addition to the five units, a separate team, headed by John Garvican, will be responsible for the private and commercial sector. The diagnostic division in Ireland will remain unchanged.
