Bayer Schering Pharma appoints Andreas Fibig as chairman of the board
Bayer Schering Pharma, a business unit of Germany's Bayer AG, has appointed Andreas Fibig as chairman of the board, effective September 1. Mr Fibig is currently a senior vice president at Pfizer. Also joining the board from October 1 is Bernd Metzner, current head of finance at Bayer Italy. Dr Metzner will take responsibility for central administration and organization at the subsidiary. Current chairman, Arthur Higgins, and current CAO head, Werner Baumann, will focus on the roles they hold at Bayer HealthCare.
