Bayer HealthCare, part of Germany's Bayer AG, has announced plans to launch its contrast media management system VistaTrak. The firm explained that the platform is intended to provide radiologists with a means of optimizing inventory control, thereby enhancing patient care and safety.

The companies claim that the platform is the first of its type to both provide an automated method of reagent management and to collect valuable operation data.
