Beiersdorf AG Forecasts 8% Growth In 1996 Sales

- Beiersdorf AG is forecasting 1996 growth in group sales of 8% over the 5.35 billion Deutschemarks ($3.58 billion) reported in 1995. A slight improvement in net profits over the 1995 level of 227.1 million is expected. Group sales in the first nine months of 1996 rose 8.2% to 4.4 billion marks with international sales up 11.4%. German sales rose by only 2.9%.
