BI Signs Licensing Deal With IDEC
- Boehringer Ingelheim has signed a licensing agreement with IDECPharmaceuticals for its high-yield recombinant protein expression technology, which improves protein manufacture for research and commercial purposes. BI will pay licensing fees worth more than $5 million, as well as royalties on any products arising from the use of IDEC's technology.
