Biogen Idec names Hans Peter Hasler as its chief operating officer

USA-based Biogen Idec has named Hans Peter Hasler as its new chief operating officer. Mr Hasler previously served as executive vice president of global neurology and head of international. He joined the firm from Wyeth in 2001.
