4DMT reports two-year benefit for wet AMD gene therapy
US biotech 4D Molecular Therapeutics (Nasdaq: FDMT) has reported positive two-year data from the Phase IIb PRISM trial of 4D-150, its investigational intravitreal gene therapy for wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD).
The data, presented at the annual meeting of the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS), showed that a single dose of 4D-150 maintained best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) and retinal anatomy while reducing the need for supplemental anti-VEGF injections.
