Aplagon appoints industry veteran Carl Lindgren as board chair

Finnish clinical-stage biotechnology company Aplagon has appointed pharmaceutical industry veteran Carl Lindgren (pictured above) as chair of its board of directors as the company prepares to advance its lead thrombo-inflammatory therapy into later-stage development.

Mr Lindgren succeeds Sakari Lassila, who will remain on the board. The appointment comes as Aplagon continues clinical development of APAC, its first-in-class antiplatelet and anticoagulant therapeutic platform, which is being evaluated across multiple thrombo-inflammatory indications.
