
USA-based biotech ARScience Biotherapeutics has begun a technology transfer for low-dose interleukin-2 (LD IL-2), as it prepares to scale manufacturing ahead of potential later-stage development and commercialization.
ARScience said the transfer will move production from its current clinical manufacturing site to a commercial-scale facility operating under current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) standards. The work includes transferring manufacturing protocols, analytical methods and technical expertise to establish a scalable production process.
