
California-based biotech Assembly Biosciences’ (Nasdaq: ASMB) shares climbed 9.4% to $29.00 mid mid-morning, after it announced the pricing of an underwritten, registered offering of common stock and pre-funded warrants, expected to generate approximately $100 million in gross proceeds.
The offering includes 3,358,602 shares of common stock priced at $26.50 per share, and pre-funded warrants to purchase up to 415,000 shares of common stock at $26.499 per pre-funded warrant. This price represents the common stock price less the $0.001 exercise price per share for each warrant.
