Avapritinib shows quality-of-life gains in indolent systemic mastocytosis study

New PIONEER study data suggest that Ayvakit/Ayvakyt (avapritinib), from Blueprint Medicines—now part of French pharma major Sanofi (Euronext: SAN)—may improve day-to-day functioning and emotional well-being in patients with indolent systemic mastocytosis (ISM).

The findings, presented at the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology Congress 2026, showed improvements across several measures of the Mastocytosis Quality-of-Life Questionnaire.
