BeOne lands UK Innovation Passport for liver cancer bispecific

Swiss-domiciled oncology company BeOne Medicines (Nasdaq: ONC) has been awarded an Innovation Passport by the UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for BGB-B2033, an experimental bispecific antibody for hepatocellular carcinoma, the most common form of primary liver cancer.

The passport is the entry ticket to the Innovative Licensing and Access Pathway (ILAP), and BeOne's award is one of only two handed out in this round. The other went to USA-based CervoMed (Nasdaq: CRVO) for neflamapimod, an oral candidate for dementia with Lewy bodies.
