BeOne Medicines adds $300M investment in US site
Sino-American oncology-focused biotech BeOne Medicines’ (Nasdaq: ONC; HKEX: 06160) announced a $300 million expansion of its flagship clinical and commercial-stage manufacturing and research and development center at the Princeton West Innovation Campus in Hopewell. This brings total US manufacturing investment to more than $1 billion.
The expansion, which as been authorized by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, will increase BeOne’s production capacity to make its medicines and is expected to create about 120 full-time jobs. The investment supports the continued advancement of BeOne’s oncology pipeline of more than 35 clinical and commercial-stage assets. BeOne said the Hopewell site headcount could rise to about 240 by the end of 2029.
