US pharma major AbbVie is nearing an all-cash deal to acquire clinical-stage biotech Apogee Therapeutics for roughly $10.9 billion.
The potential transaction represents a premium of around 60% to Apogee's closing share price and is expected to be officially announced as early as Monday, assuming negotiations finalize without any last-minute complications, according to a Financial Times report.
