Cancer Research UK opens Phase II trial of Cytovation’s CY-101 in rare adrenal cancer
Cancer Research UK has opened an international Phase II trial of Norwegian clinical-stage biotech Cytovation’s CY-101 (getacatetide) in patients with advanced adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), a rare and aggressive adrenal gland cancer with limited treatment options.
The CLARITY study, also listed as ISRCTN15479264, is being run with Cytovation and the Norwegian Cancer Society. It is open at several UK sites, with further centers planned in the UK and Europe, reflecting the recruitment challenges in rare cancers.
