
Chai Discovery has signed a collaboration with Novartis (NOVN: VX) to use artificial intelligence in the discovery of therapeutic antibodies, adding another large pharmaceutical company to its growing customer base. The agreement covers multiple biological targets, although financial terms and the specific disease areas involved were not disclosed.
Under the deal, Novartis will gain access to Chai’s latest models, including Chai-3, to support antibody discovery across several therapeutic programs. The agreement follows more than a year of technical engagement, during which Novartis tracked the company’s progress and received early access to a next-generation protein-folding model.
