Chemomab to merge with Scipher Medicine to advance AI-guided RA program
Israeli biotech Chemomab Therapeutics (Nasdaq: CMMB) has agreed to merge with US precision medicine company Scipher Medicine, in a deal that will shift the combined business toward an AI-guided Phase II trial of nebokitug in rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
The transaction is supported by around $30 million in gross proceeds from a concurrent private placement, which is expected to fund operations into the second half of 2028. The combined company is expected to be valued at $150 million before the financing.
