City Thera raises $100m to push RNAi pipeline deeper into clinic

US biotech City Therapeutics has raised $99.5 million in a series B financing, giving the young RNA interference specialist more room to advance its pipeline and refine its next-generation RNAi engineering platform.

The round brought in new investors Viking Global Investors and Sofinnova Investments, alongside Casdin Capital, NYBC Ventures and a number of existing backers.
