Earlier use of Abecma shows beneficial effect in multiple myeloma
Positive top-line results from a Phase III trial of the first CAR T-cell therapy in multiple myeloma have been presented by developers Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY) and 2seventy bio (Nasdaq: TSVT).
The KarMMa-3 study is comparing Abecma (idecabtagene vicleucel) with standard combo regimens in adults with relapsed and refractory disease which has resisted two to four prior lines of therapy.
