EMA launches database of clinical studies in children

The European Medicines Agency has published a new database containing information on studies of medicines authorized in the European Union that were carried out in children and completed before the Pediatric Regulation came into force in 2007.

The Article 45 pediatric studies database allows users to search for information on the studies’ names and aims, the medicines studied and the ages of patients included. For a subset of studies, documents summarizing the study’s results are also available.
