Evotec and Plectonic partner on next-gen T-cell engager tech for solid tumors
Biotech services company Evotec (ETR: EVT) has entered a research collaboration with fellow German firm Plectonic Biotech to explore a new approach to T-cell-engaging immunotherapy for solid tumors.
The collaboration combines Evotec's proprietary BiTco platform, based on a non-blocking CD2 antibody designed to deliver a costimulatory signal that boosts T-cell activity and persistence within tumors, with Plectonic's LOGIBODY technology, a class of programmable DNA-protein therapeutics engineered to act as molecular logic gates.
