Immunic lures former Roche exec Erik Lundgren to be its CEO

US biotech Immunic (Nasdaq: IMUX) today announced the appointment of distinguished biopharmaceutical executive Erik Lundgren as chief executive (CEO), effective May 22, 2026, with employment beginning on June 1, 2026.

Mr Lundgren succeeds Daniel Vitt, who will retain responsibility for scientific strategy and portfolio advancement while remaining a member of Immunic's board of directors.
