
UK-based Infinitopes, a cancer vaccine biotech company, has announced the successful completion of the second close of its seed financing round, securing an additional $15.4 million and bringing the total raised to $35.1 million.
This funding comes as the Oxford firm launches its first-in-human, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial of ITOP1, its leading precision therapeutic vaccine aimed at preventing recurrence in oesophageal cancer, an area where clinical need remains largely unmet.
