
US biotech Jasper Therapeutics (Nasdaq: JSPR) has completed its all-stock acquisition of complement-focused Kira Pharmaceuticals, creating a combined immunology company with a broader biologics pipeline for immune-mediated diseases.
Jasper has also entered into a private placement expected to raise around $132 million in gross proceeds. The financing, co-led by Affinity Asset Advisors and Ikarian Capital, includes participation from Mirador Therapeutics and other life sciences investors, and is expected to close on July 20.
