Muna names Michel Detheux CEO as Alzheimer’s drug nears Phase II testing

Danish biotech company Muna Therapeutics has named Michel Detheux as chief executive as it prepares to move its lead Alzheimer’s disease candidate toward Phase II testing.

Dr Detheux, the former president and chief executive of iTeos Therapeutics (NASDAQ: ITOS), succeeds founding chief executive and chief scientific officer Rita Balice-Gordon, who has led Muna since 2021 and will join the company’s board.
