Phase III win strengthens Epkinly case in relapsed lymphoma
Genmab (Nasdaq: GMAB) and AbbVie (NYSE: ABBV) have reported a Phase III success for Epkinly (epcoritamab), with the bispecific antibody combination significantly improving progression-free survival in patients with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma who had received at least one prior line of therapy.
The EPCORE DLBCL-4 trial evaluated fixed-duration, subcutaneous Epkinly plus lenalidomide against standard chemoimmunotherapy with rituximab, gemcitabine and oxaliplatin (R-GemOx). Genmab said the study met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in progression-free survival.
