
Indian pharma services group Piramal Pharma Ltd (NSE: PPLPHARMA, BSE: 543635) has completed the acquisition of an incremental 40.67% stake in Yapan Bio, a Hyderabad-based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in vaccines and biologics, the company announced Tuesday.
The deal, finalized for aggregate cash consideration of ₹76 crore ($7.95 million), takes Piramal Pharma's total ownership of Yapan Bio to 74%, converting the company from an associate into a subsidiary.
