Protillion and Merck & Co sign AI drug discovery pact

US biotech Protillion Biosciences has entered a multi-target discovery collaboration and license agreement with pharma major Merck & Co (NYSE: MRK).

The companies will use Protillion’s lab-in-the-loop AI platform to support the discovery of novel therapeutic candidates, with Merck bringing its drug discovery and development expertise to the alliance.
