
US biotech Rigel Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: RIGL) today announced that Veppanu (vepdegestrant), which was authorized for marketing by the Food and Drug Administration in May this year, is now available by prescription in the USA.
Veppanu is a treatment of adults with estrogen receptor-positive (ER+)/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-), estrogen receptor 1 (ESR1)-mutated advanced or metastatic breast cancer (mBC), as detected by a US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-authorized test, with disease progression following at least one line of endocrine therapy.
