Saphnelo self-administration TULIP-SC Phase III trial meets primary endpoint in SLE

Positive high-level results from a pre-specified interim analysis of the Phase III TULIP-SC trial in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) showed that the subcutaneous (SC) administration of AstraZeneca’s (LSE: AZN) Saphnelo (anifrolumab) demonstrated a statistically-significant and clinically-meaningful reduction in disease activity compared to placebo.
