
Rare disease company Swedish Orphan Biovitrum (Sobi) (STO: SOBI) raised its full-year guidance after reporting strong second-quarter growth, led by its hematology and immunology franchises.
Total revenue rose 27% at actual exchange rates, or 29% at constant exchange rates, to 7.84 billion Swedish krone ($816 million). EBITA rose 53% to 2.84 billion krone, giving a margin of 36%, while adjusted EBITA margin was 35%. Earnings per share before dilution increased to 3.17 krone from 1.85 krone a year earlier, and adjusted EPS before dilution climbed to 4.00 krone from 2.38 krone. Operating cash flow improved to 1.91 billion krone from 1.45 billion krone.
