Standard BioTools to merge with Treeline in biotech transformation deal

US life sciences tools company Standard BioTools (Nasdaq: LAB) has agreed to merge with privately-held Treeline Biosciences in an all-stock deal that will turn the business into a clinical-stage biopharma company.

The combined company is expected to operate as Treeline Biosciences and trade on Nasdaq under the ticker TRLN after the transaction closes, which is expected in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, Standard BioTools shareholder clearance and other customary conditions.
